Citizen of the World
He received the Roosevelt prize from the Academy of Political Sciences, the International Peace prize and the title of Citizen of the World. He was twice nominated for the Peace Nobel Prize. In 1964 his political rights were revoked by the military regime. He died in Paris, at the age of 65, in exile and longing to go back to Brazil.
